This ongoing series of Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement® lessons focuses on increasing your ability to feel your own position in space, your internal sensations, and the efforts of movement. Through guided gentle, intentional movement, you'll learn to recognize — and change — unconscious habits that inhibit movement and limit choices. We look toward easing movement in and across armoring bands; in length, width and depth; in breath, in extension and in broadening vision. Bonus: you'll learn to move more effectively, more easily.
Multiple group classes are offered each week with a related focus for you to discover. Each lesson is self-contained, and under an hour long. There's an optional discussion afterward to include reflections for somatic practitioners and students. No prior Feldenkrais or Somatics experience is needed; join any class.
